The Rapid Dryer was developed to achieve a more efficient drying process of the clay products before they enter the kiln.
The drying system is made up of a tunnel inside which the wet pieces are moved on a motorized level formed by chains joined together by a metal profile and advance against the flow of hot air at a controlled and adjustable speed depending on the type of clay processed and the size of the products to be dried.
This particular construction process results in a very low-maintenance, high-efficiency dryer that requires low investment costs compared to other solutions used in brick drying.

The Rapid Dryer is designed especially for thin-walled products made of clay mixtures that require short drying times, and products longer than 25 cm.
The dryer can be operated continuously for 24 hours or even intermittently, depending on the duration of the work shift; interruptions in the production line do not cause significant losses in the thermal performance and quality of the dried pieces.
The loading and unloading of the dryer’s products, depending on the customer’s specific requirements, can be done manually by the operators or with a fully automated system.
In the case of automated systems, loading and unloading of the dryer to the kiln area is done by motorized roller conveyors and deviators, without any manual operation and without the use of pallets or racks. This greatly reduces the handling of the bricks and ensures a higher quality of the final product.

EXPERIENCE
The Rapid Dryer is a project of the South American company Saracco, which has more than 40 years of experience in the design and construction of this dryer and has been present in Venezuela for many years.
The close and long-lasting synergy between Meccanica 2P and Saracco has allowed them to build several other dryers together in recent years in new markets in South America, such as Mexico, Colombia and Peru.
In addition to the rapid tunnel dryer by Saracco, automated cutting lines and loading and unloading lines by MECCANICA 2P are supplied, allowing the customer to have a complete solution, improving productivity and the final quality of the product
